iPhone 4 DESIGN


The hardware design uses the black glass (aluminosilicate glass) and stainless steel rim. The black glass is chemically strengthened to be 20 times stiffer and 30 times harder than plastic. This makes it more scratch resistant and durable than the previous generation. The stainless steel rim gives the structure to the iPhone 4 (acts as part of the antenna for 3G and Wi-Fi) that will greatly increase the reception abilities. iPhone 4 has split buttons for volume, unlike the current iPhone 3GS, all made in stainless steel. The physical size is 4.5 x 2.31 inches, and 0.37 inches thick. (34% thinner than the iPhone 3GS), and the weighs is 4.8 ounces (137 grams). (3 grams heavier than the iPhone 3GS)

iPhone 4 has an Apple A4 chip inside. You can be switched it on and off when they are not needed. So, it consumes less power by shaving watts whenever it's possible.

iPhone 4 has the battery that 16% bigger than the current one and Apple claims 40% more talk time.

iPhone 4 FEATURES

FaceTime
This is a Video Calling feature with easy one-tap simple. Just find your best friend entry in your Contacts and then tap the FaceTime button. So, you can talk by seeing your soulmate face in your iPhone 4. And iPhone 4 has two cameras: One on the front and one on the back. The video conferencing camera in the front of camera with standard VGA resolution focuses on user. There is a gyroscope built-in that can track movement with a very high precision, better than iPhone 3G. And the main camera on the back with a bigger sensor and a bigger lenses, focuses on everything else behind the iPhone 4. So, during a video call, you can switch back and forth between them at any time by tap a button. The sensor maintains the same 5 megapixel count that has a higher ISO (sensitivity to light). That mean, it let you to take better photos and videos in low light conditions.

Retina Display


The Retina Display uses technology called IPS (in-plane switching), just like the Apple LED Cinema Display and iPad. It means you still get a great picture even you hold iPhone 4 almost any way you want. The Retina display glass made from the same materials used in high-speed trains and helicopters, more scratch resistant, more durable and more harder than ever. And you can keep the screen clean because the glass also features an oil-resistant coating. Apple claim that the Retina Display on iPhone 4 is the sharpest, most vibrant, highest-resolution phone screen ever.

Multitasking
The new iPhone 4 comes with iOS 4 (iPhone OS 4) to introduces the biggest new feature called selective multi-tasking. This is a whole new way to multitask some application features without slowing down the performance of the foreground app or consuming too many resources and draining the battery unnecessarily. Now you can run your favorite third-party apps and switch between them quickly and instantly, pick up right where you left off, listen to audio in the background, get VoIP calls while using other apps, keep GPS apps running, receive push and local notifications, and also complete tasks in the background. It's a "big WOW", isn't it?

HD Video Recording and Editing
You can make your own mini-movies using the new iMovie for iPhone 4 that works on even 720p high definition. Just shoot your own movies, edit your video right on iPhone, give yours a theme, add music and photos, turn your video clips into a finished movie After you are done with your movie, you can export it to 360p, 520p, and 720p. Share your movie in an email or MMS message, on the web, on YouTube or in a MobileMe gallery. But, iMovie does not come built-in with the iPhone 4, it is a separate application that will be coming soon to the App Store for $4.99.

5-Megapixel camera with LED Flash
You can take a self-portraits by activate the front camera with a tap. You can check your image on the display, and shoot without fliping your iPhone 4 around to guess where you are in the frame. You will get amazingly detailed images because the 5-megapixel camera that built into iPhone 4 And you can use the 5x digital zoom to gets you closer to the action. And built-in LED flash that automatically fires when it’s needed will help you to get better picture wherever the light’s not bright. After you are done with your photos, you can share its around the world, send its via email or MMS from the Camera app or post them directly to your MobileMe gallery. You can save your photos to your computer and share with Flickr, iPhoto, Aperture and other compatible applications and services. Every photo you take is geotagged with information about your location.


iPhone 4 Price and Availability
The Phone 4 will cost $199 and $299 for 16 and 32GB if you are a new user or you are eligible for an upgrade. If you are an existing iPhone user, the early upgrade will cost you $399 and $499. Without contract, the iPhone 4 is $599 and $699. The Phone 4 will be available in black or white on June 24.

Keynote iPhone 4
At Apple's WWDC in San Francisco, CEO Steve Jobs demonstrated iPhone 4, the latest version of its all-conquering handheld computer. But the show didn't go entirely as planned. In an on-stage side-by-side demo of the new model vs. the last, Jobs' iPhone 4 suffered problems with internet connectivity. With a groan, the infamous perfectionist forged on with demonstrations of offline material. Later, Apple reported that the room, packed with laptop- and cellphone-toting journalists, contained 570 wireless devices, all competing for bandwidth. Attendees were briefly asked to turn off their machines.
